Play Console tasks that require the developer account
- Create the app with application ID
com.xraw.papernestand enable Play App Signing. - Upload
bin/papernest-1.1.0-release.aabto Internal testing first. - Publish the repository’s
docs/folder with GitHub Pages and enter the public/privacy/HTTPS URL in App content. - Complete Data safety. Receipt images and extracted values stay on-device and are not sent to the developer or Google. Google ML Kit does collect limited SDK diagnostics/usage metrics. Review Google’s current ML Kit data-disclosure guide and declare the applicable Device or other IDs and App info and performance/Diagnostics categories as collected for analytics and diagnostics, encrypted in transit, and not shared. Verify the form again if analytics, ads, cloud sync, or crash reporting are added.
- Declare the Camera permission purpose: “Used only when the user chooses Snap a Receipt. Photos are processed and stored on the user’s device.”
- Add phone screenshots captured from a release-like build, the 512×512 icon, a 1024×500 feature graphic, category, contact email, and store descriptions.
- Complete Content rating, Ads (currently “No”), App access (no sign-in), Target audience, and Financial features declarations.
- Test camera capture, multi-image/PDF import, OCR, editing, deletion, CSV/image export, and app restart on at least Android 9, 13, 15, and 16 where available.
- Review the pre-launch report and Android vitals before promoting to Production.
Suggested listing copy
Short description:
Scan, organize, and understand your receipts—right on your device.
Full description:
PaperNest turns paper receipts into an organized, searchable record. Snap a photo or choose images and PDFs, let on-device text recognition suggest the date, total, and merchant, then review every detail before saving.
Keep receipts grouped for work, travel, home, or anything else. Browse by year and month, edit details anytime, explore totals for custom date ranges, and export reports or one organized receipt-image ZIP when you need them.
Your receipt library stays on your device. No account is required, and the app does not send your receipts or financial details to the developer.
Build command
./build_android_release.sh
