Learn2Speak Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the Learn2Speak Android application (package
com.Learn2Speak) handles information. Learn2Speak does not require an
account, display advertising, sell personal information, or operate an app server
that receives your lesson activity.
Information handled by the app

| Microphone audio and recognized speech | If you choose a speaking feature and grant microphone permission, the app passes audio to your device's configured Android speech-recognition service and receives recognized text to check or translate your response. Learn2Speak does not save audio recordings and does not retain the recognized text after the current interaction unless it is used as a locally cached translation. Your speech provider may process audio on the device or on its servers under that provider's privacy policy. |
| Text used for translation | Google ML Kit processes translation input and output on your device. The app may download language models from Google. Google states that ML Kit may also collect app and device information, identifiers, diagnostics, usage metrics, and configured source and destination languages for service operation, analytics, and quality improvement. Permissions
Learn2Speak requests microphone permission only for features that listen to a spoken answer or provide live speech translation. You can deny or revoke this permission in Android Settings and continue using lessons that support touch or typed input. Internet access is used for functions such as downloading ML Kit translation models and communicating with device-selected speech services.
Sharing and service providers
Learn2Speak does not sell your data. Information may be processed by service providers only when needed for a feature you use: Google ML Kit and related Google services for on-device translation models and service diagnostics; your selected Android speech-recognition provider; your selected text-to-speech provider; and Android's backup service. Depending on your device and backup settings, Android may include the app's locally stored preferences and progress in a device backup.
Storage, retention, and deletion
Lesson activity, preferences, and translation cache remain on your device until you reset progress where available, clear Learn2Speak's storage in Android Settings, or uninstall the app. Device backups may persist according to your Android backup provider's retention rules. Because Learn2Speak has no user accounts or app server, there is no separate server-side account data to delete. Data processed by external speech, text-to-speech, Google, or backup services is retained under those providers' policies.
Security
Learn2Speak limits app-managed learning information to local Android storage and relies on Android's application sandbox. Network traffic used by integrated Android and Google services is protected in transit by those services. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children
Learn2Speak does not provide accounts, advertising, or social features, and the developer does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. A parent or guardian with a privacy concern can contact the developer below.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the app or its service providers change. The date above will be revised, and the current policy will remain available at this URL.
